I purchased my first ISBN number for the second edition of »Pferde und Autos« and here it is. Yeah!

Good News

I’m so happy to announce that there will be a second edition of »Pferde und Autos«. It will cost 34,50 Euro, will be back from the printer at the end of July and you can pre-oder from now. The book is published again in occasion of my first solo show at Museum der Westküste (2.9.12 – 13.1.13).

A first short view on a new series I’m working on right now is to be found in the »work« section.

3 Roses — 9 Ravens — 12 Months

is a great book Jaap Scheeren did in 2008. The story is based on a Slovakian fairy tale by the same name. Design and editing is done in collaboration with Hans Gremmen and they did a fine job. I’m still hoping to get hold of Jaap’s book »Oma Toos« sometime somewhere. For more pictures have a look at Jaap’s Website.

Meisterschüler

Presentation was good and everything’s fine now. Pictures of the book will be on view in the »Work« section of the website, but give me a few days.

The project has a name. It’s called »Pferde und Autos« and will be back from the printer within the next days. I am very excited. The book is the result of my Meisterschüler studies and will be shown at my final presentation on July 6th at University of the Arts. So feel free to come along and join me for my Meisterschüler presentation.

Snake, Lion, Deer

»Wilde Dieren« is an admirable simple book by Rop van Mierlo about, yes, animals. Here you can have a look inside. Beside the great illustrations I specially love that there’s an index.

New work – a series of photographs called »Young Trees« – will be up on the website the next days.

Besser die Taube in der Hand

The »Dorf« project is shapening and has to get a new name. I have been abroad hoping for good words to cross my way but they didn’t. Instead of a pigeon did. I will let you now what happens next.

Der Kackofant

I have been at Leipzig Book Fair last week. The book made me laugh the most was »Kackofant«. If you have the chance take a look inside, it’s definitely worth it.
